Finding it hard to fit in your five a day?

This refreshing gluten-free smoothie recipe is the perfect answer, and even has a scrumptious chocolate twist! It’ll give you the boost you need whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, and is sure to go down perfectly in the summer sun.

First you’ll need to place your fruit into the blender, we chose blueberries, raspberries and banana but you have the luxury of selecting whatever fruit you like! Place this into the blender and then scoop in the natural yoghurt, followed by the milk.

Then comes the twist! Break up some Lovemore choc chip cookies and throw them in as well, we think it gives this smoothie a milkshake twist and the Belgian chocolate adds an extra touch of sweetness.

Next it’s time to blend your mixture, you can choose whether to have yours completely smooth or with a bit more texture like ours! Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and if you’re feeling indulgent you can even finish with some whipped cream and a couple more berries sprinkled on top.

All that’s left to do is step out into the (hopefully) sunshine and sip on your delicious smoothie!
